Kosta Mare Palace Resort consists of 140 rooms, quietly situated in Anissaras and separated by the promenade from the long sandy beach. Near to the hotel are several mini markets, bars and tavernas. The lively tourist centre of Chersonissos, with its choice of shops, restaurants and bars to suit everyone’s taste is just 4 km away. Analipsi, a much quieter resort, can be reached after a comfortable walk of 15 minutes. Iraklion is 22 km away and can easily be reached by public transport.
A new 18-hole golf course is located 4 km south of the hotel.
In the nearby area you will find several scuba diving centres where you can either take diving lessons to obtain the PADI diving certificate, or you can take part in one of several different diving trips.
For those who are interested in history and archaeology, three remarkable sites are not too distant: The Minoan Palaces of Knossos (24Km) and Malia (7 km), as well as the Archaeological Museum of Iraklion (22Km), housing all finds of the Minoan culture.
In Iraklion, Crete’s biggest city, just 22 km away, you will get a glimpse of the pulsating life of the local people, have the opportunity to stroll along the colourful market street, or go shopping in one of the numerous top quality shops.
For young and old, the newly opened Aquarium in Gournes (5 km) provides a close encounter with the underwater life of the Greek seas, presenting a wide variety of fish species in their natural environment.
The Lassithi Plateau, (40 km away), with its windmills and many traditional villages, provides a picturesque place to spend an unforgettable day.

The 140 rooms are distributed in several 1 and 2-storeyd buildings within a colorful garden, in front of a long sandy beach. In the main building, you will find the spacious lobby with reception, a lounge with SAT-TV, Internet corner, the lobby bar with terrace.
In the garden are 2 freshwater pools - one with whirlpool, as well as a separate children’s pool. Our main restaurant, the snack bar, the pool bar and the accompanied mini club complete the range of services.
All our rooms are spacious and elegant and we have paid special attention to appealing decoration. In our hotel you can choose between following room types :
Standard DBL for 2 - 3 persons.
Comfortable and spacious rooms equipped with telephone, safe (charge), SAT-TV with music channels, refrigerator, air-conditioning, hairdryer, bath or shower/WC and balcony or terrace.
Superior DBL
More comfortably furnished and spacious than the standard rooms otherwise they dispose of the same amenities. You have the choice between garden and sea view.
Family rooms:
Equipped and furnished the same as the superior double rooms, and with living/bedroom as well as separate bedroom. Ideally suitable for 4 persons.
Suites:
The comfortable and spacious suites with quality furnishings can accommodate 4 persons and are equipped the same as the double rooms, but have 2 separate bedrooms as well as a bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub. Every suite offers sea view.

Beach towels are available at the reception against a fully refundable deposit.

Entertainment:
A team of animators provides a varied program of selected day activities. Evening entertainment takes place at the amphitheatre close to the beach, 6 times per week. Greek live music and dance shows are presented frequently.

Children are especially welcome and we assure that our younger guests feel happy in their own environment. A separate children’s pool (freshwater), a playground and an accompanied mini club for children 4 -12 years of age (between the hours of 10:00 -12:00 hrs and 15:00 - 17:00 hrs, 6 days per week) contribute to the children joy.
